Terms & Conditions (AGB)
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all guided tours and travel experiences offered through Würzburg With Us by
Sarah Mauelshagen D'Aguiar (VAT ID: DE365055112)
and
Tiago Messias D'Aguiar (VAT ID: DE364493212),
each acting as independent freelance tour guides.
The contract is concluded with the guide who confirms your booking.
2. Booking
Bookings can be made through our contact form, by email or by other agreed means of communication.
Your booking becomes binding once you receive our written confirmation.
3. Prices
All prices are quoted in Euro (€).
Unless otherwise stated, prices include the guiding service only.
Additional costs such as entrance fees, wine tastings, transportation, meals or accommodation are only included if expressly stated in your quotation.
4. Payment
A deposit of 50% of the agreed tour price is required to secure your booking.
The remaining balance is due no later than the day of the tour unless otherwise agreed.
Payments may be made by bank transfer or another agreed payment method.
5. Cancellation by the Guest
If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation fees apply:
more than 14 days before the tour: full refund
13–7 days before the tour: 25% of the agreed tour price
6–2 days before the tour: 50%
less than 48 hours before the tour or no-show: 100%
If third-party services (for example wineries, transportation or entrance tickets) have already been booked on your behalf, their cancellation conditions also apply and any non-refundable costs will be charged accordingly.
6. Cancellation by Us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a tour due to illness, force majeure or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer:
an alternative date,
another qualified guide where possible, or
a full refund of any payments made for our guiding services.
We are not liable for additional expenses such as flights, accommodation or other travel arrangements.
7. Changes to the Itinerary
Private tours are individually planned.
Minor adjustments due to weather, opening hours, traffic, local events or other unforeseen circumstances may become necessary.
Whenever possible, we will provide a suitable alternative of equal value.
8. Arrival & Delays
Please arrive at the agreed meeting point on time. If you expect to be delayed, let us know as soon as possible. While we will do our best to accommodate reasonable delays, the duration of the tour may need to be shortened accordingly. No refunds can be given for time lost due to late arrival.
9. Guest Responsibilities
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are physically able to participate in the booked tour.
Please inform us in advance about:
mobility limitations
allergies
dietary requirements (where applicable)
any other circumstances relevant to the tour.
Children remain under the supervision of their accompanying adults at all times.
10. Liability
We are liable only for damages resulting from intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
Participation in our tours is at your own risk.
This limitation does not apply to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
11. Third-Party Services
Where we arrange services provided by third parties (such as wineries, transportation providers or museums), these services remain subject to the respective provider's terms and conditions.
We are not responsible for services performed by third parties.
12. Applicable Law
German law applies.
The mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected where applicable.
